One day, one day, i play it, on guitar, or a chapman stick :D
i know i havent been updating recently. not exactly busy, just lazy. even as i wanted to post "remove this torn in the flesh", God reminded me about His grace and how awesome and sufficient it is for me and you.
Last friday, i was assigned to be the prayer leader for TGIF (our version friday prayer xD).. instead of doing the usual "ice breaking" thing-ies... i decided to share about His love and grace for us. not to look "spiritual" but to build up our faith and spiritman before praying for our needs.
Right believing leads to right living.
"Too often we're overwhelmed by the bigness of our problems. Look to Jesus instead. Look at His bigness and greatness. Look at the finished work on the cross."
The verses that i used was:
2 Corinthians 12:9 (Amplified Bible)
But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness.
Romans 8:28 (Amplified Bible)
We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
and lastly, i would like to encourage all of you, who are down, and perhaps feel weak and tired of getting in and out of our problems... One suggestion: look to Jesus, look at the finished work on the cross. He died for a reason, He paid the price that we couldn't pay. Simply because He love us, He came and took away all our pain, shame, weakness, and all the "bad" things you can imagine.
A song of ascents.
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Hmm... ladder up eh? it's time for me to move up huh?
