Reviewing things to come.

Post no. 99

I've been looking and reading up prophecies and the such;
both for the world, and for myself.
God has promised much, and without fail, He constantly proves Himself.

Just last night, i had the feeling of just reading up and refreshing my mind on the prophecies that i've received some time back.. looking at the prophecies themselves, i felt so small, almost close to inexistence.

Have you ever felt so small and puny? i bet you do

However, looking at His grace which is more than enough for me, i felt and knows that strength is coming, and better still, He IS my Strength.

Privileged am I who has already came to know Him. With Him, life is much more meaningful.

Well, just a lil snippet of what's happening in my life.... one word, renovation.

renovation cost money, cost time, cost you something, expenses.

a. Something spent to attain a goal or accomplish a purpose

[Quoted from 'The Free Dictionary']
Hmm to accomplish a purpose eh?

On my side, Lord let me be to You an obedient child and friend, let not my actions hinder and slow down what You have planned for my life, i wanna live it. Cuz the thought of it itself brings forth much anticipation and it does somehow, feels like an action-packed-movieLife!

Glory Defined - Building 429

There's always a better way
there's always a bridge that needs crossings
there's always the straight and the narrow
the wide and the shallow
But I know that you're guiding me
and the best is yet to come
You've given me hope for tomorrow

and I know some day

I'll wake up to find
Your glory defined
and I will finally bow at your feet
I will lift up your name in honor and praise
when I cross over Jordan
I know that I'll be running home to you

It's always the simple things
it's always the obvious that crashes over me
It's always in front of me
it helps me to remember
this is what I live for
and I can't wait

there's never a question in your message
never a moment without your presence
there's never a doubt in my mind
that I'll

Proverbs 4: Wisdom Is Supreme

1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding.
2 I give you sound learning,
so do not forsake my teaching.

3 When I was a boy in my father's house,
still tender, and an only child of my mother,

4 he taught me and said,
"Lay hold of my words with all your heart;
keep my commands and you will live.

5 Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or swerve from them.

6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.

7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, [a] get understanding.

8 Esteem her, and she will exalt you;
embrace her, and she will honor you.

9 She will set a garland of grace on your head
and present you with a crown of splendor."

10 Listen, my son, accept what I say,
and the years of your life will be many.

11 I guide you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.

12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered;
when you run, you will not stumble.

13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go;
guard it well, for it is your life.

14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked
or walk in the way of evil men.

15 Avoid it, do not travel on it;
turn from it and go on your way.

16 For they cannot sleep till they do evil;
they are robbed of slumber till they make someone fall.

17 They eat the bread of wickedness
and drink the wine of violence.

18 The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

19 But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness;
they do not know what makes them stumble.

20 My son, pay attention to what I say;
listen closely to my words.

21 Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;

22 for they are life to those who find them
and health to a man's whole body.

23 Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.

24 Put away perversity from your mouth;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead,
fix your gaze directly before you.

26 Make level [b] paths for your feet
and take only ways that are firm.

27 Do not swerve to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil.

Post AG♥PE Updates:

AG♥PE went well, Praise the Lord, the musical drama night itself was much much much much better than any of the other practices that we did. Praise God everything went smoothly despite the lack of practice and time to double check this and that...

Thank God for everyone who turned up, everyone who placed in time and effort in making AG♥PE a success. I pray for those who has been sacrificial that they will indeed get back double or even triple blessing of all they have placed in.

Thank God for all who came, it's a joy to see so many who turned up. Thanks for the good comments and feedbacks.

All in all, praise God. As of now, i pray that everyone will get back into focus, even with the hype that is still going on, let us not go astray, let us be on target, heading towards what God has planned and started doing in our midst.

Well, my camera wasn't with me during AG♥PE, so no picts from me..

Memories of my visit

You might probably not look at this like a travelogue, but as for me, I took as a time of travelling, going to new places, seeing and experiencing new things!

I was admitted to the hospital after coughing lots of blood.

What happened? I was diagnosed with Tuberculosis (TB). Thankfully, I was not alone. My family was there with me, during the 'travel'

I received my treatment, and the visit ain't too bad, at lease, i had my camera and a nice view out my window.

Theme explained.

Im sure those of have visited my site recently would have noticed the new theme aka blogskin.
A thank you note to those who voted. i'm please with the feedbacks :D
So what triggered me to change the theme? let's find out...

Some of you might recall me saying about changing my blogskin about a year ago, talking about making a flash-blog and such.. and yet nothing happened. i wasn't super duper busy, wasn't lazy or anything like that.. i simply had no, no inspiration at all.. every time i tried designing one.. it looked like crap. so i just let it be..

Anyhow, just before we ushered in 2010.. there were plenty of revelations and such that came struck me. awe, is the perfect word to describe how i was feeling.

And so, 'revelations' became the theme of this blog.. unlike most people, my blogskin and my blog often represents what i'm going through in life and what God is doing in my life.

As you can see at the top of the blog, at the header image, to me, these images was revelations and ideas and awesome stuffs that came from heaven. i truly treasure them.. so yea, thats how the header image comes about..

Hmm.. so what about the green color? what does it have to do with the theme?

Dear readers, when i mention the word green, what is the first thing that pops up in your mind? is it the green field outside your 'window', or is it the thought about life, or things like that?

To me, the first thing i think about when i hear the word green... is the color itself. lol. nonetheless, green also speaks to me about something fresh, something new, something that brings life.. thus, linking it perfectly with the revelation theme.
I wrote this in the 'about' page:
The blog header image? The images used above are basically inspirations and revelations from God. God's revelations and ideas are always higher than ours, let us not limit God based on how much we can accept or believe.

Isaiah 55:8-9
8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
declares the LORD.

9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
what makes me happier and even more encouraged is that God is doing the same thing in my church, revelations and this whole idea..

its mind blowing, as usual. i'm glad im 'in it' and not left out. glad that i'm in the perfect timing and season of the Lord.

well peeps, it is indeed a time of learning to trust in Him more and more, to acknowledge His ways, which are higher than ours, to continually be in awe, because that's what He is.

on a random note, i 'picked up' my new batch of medicines on the 7th of Jan, had to go through all sorts of testings and xray again.. >__< anyways, this batch of medicines will last me till prolly around 26 Feb.. then ill have to go for examinations and such again.. but thank God.. the respiratory center is giving out free treatment! :D gleneagles cut throat. lol.

and oh, bowling.. somehow i picked it up again.. due to the 'opening ceremony' of the new bowling alley at Wangsa Walk... i kindda stopped it for quite some time cuz KCP aka KK club's management and alley sucks :P

and yea, i 'finally' bought my own pair of shoes, and bowling ball.. xD

Bulldozer! 11.5 lbs, plastic, conventional grip...

Bowling shoes!

it took me quite a while to consider buying the bowling ball... cuz firstly, i'm not around wangsa maju during the weekdays, there's no way i would be able to enjoy the student price privileges, and when i'm back, it's either weekends or public holidays, but arh.. promo price, so i got it in the end. lol

so next time anyone goes bowling, ajak me la.. lol.. when im around. xD

On another random note,
Next week classes are gonna start, again, 2 and a half more years of studying, long yet short..

i would definitely miss going to class and hanging out with my buddies whole day long, but yet, i know that i'm sorta 'behind time' cuz i could have graduated earlier, in another field of studies. lol... but oh well.. this is where God and i wanted to be, so here i am.

prepared for the next sem? err.. not really.. rested a lil too long, now having 'lazy-bones-syndrome'

AGAPE is in a week's time..tension a bit.. but by God's grace, it will succeed. i would be busy this coming sem, taking up 5 subjects, 4 core, 1 arts and humanities subject...

1) Introduction to digital signal processing - wooo.. i feel excited about this subject.. xD
2) Control theory - hope its something like what i've learnt before during my diploma la.. lazy wanna learn so many new things.. haha
3) Operating systems - i sense a lot of theory coming up >__< 4) Data communication and computer networking - theory? 5) Technical communication - sounds like assignments coming up.. xD i'm contactable everyday at 12-1pm... thursday would be very very busy, other days would be slightly more relaxed.. so if there's anything, do contact me on the other days, unless it's urgent ya :D ah oh, Ministry Training Intake 12 is coming up too... in March 7th.. im gonna be busy. but by His grace and strength, all things are possible :D i guess that's all for now,

all that happened today, i'm glad, in a way, to see the maturity level of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Yes, there were still a minority who are/were angry, worried, and cursing all about. But the majority chose to love, chose to forgive, and chose to look to Him who is above it all.

well, it's obviously not the kindda 'regular' thing you'd expect to see on the 2nd week of the year, but i believe that it's just another beginning to something greater ahead.

(i) Yes, to all of you who are still pissed, choose to love instead.
1 John 4:7-12, 19-21
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

(ii) To those who are worried, choose to trust in Him.
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

(iii) To those who are seeking for revenge, choose to love, for we are not fighting against flesh and blood.
Ephesians 6:12-13
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

in short,
Choose to love, choose to forgive,
choose to be still and know He is God,
put on the full armor of God and go for war,
not against flesh and blood,
but against the evil one who is scheming behind it all.

[ it turned out poetic in nature. cools. ;))]

Well, God came and died, not just for the sick, not just for the good, not just for the poor, not just for those who rich; He came and died for all, that is, including you and me.

We are called to take His light
To a world where wrong seems right.
What could be too great a cost
For sharing Life with one who's lost?

Through His love our hearts can feel
All the grief they bear.
They must hear the Words of Life
Only we can share.

People need the Lord!
- cropped from People Need the Lord, Steve Green

And yes, please do pray for those who are in authority, for them to have godly wisdom on how to handle such issue, also do pray for the peace among the citizens of Malaysia. Thank you.
1 Timothy 2:1-3
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers,
intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—
for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
This is good, and pleases God our Savior.

Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!

Romans 4:16-25

16Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants--not only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all.

17As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.

18[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be.

19He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb.

20No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,

21Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.

22That is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God).

23But [the words], It was credited to him, were written not for his sake alone,

24But [they were written] for our sakes too. [Righteousness, standing acceptable to God] will be granted and credited to us also who believe in (trust in, adhere to, and rely on) God, Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

25Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God].
Lord, i thank You for the very very exciting start of 2010, of all the promises You made, of all the things You've opened my eyes to; they are all beautiful and magnificent just as You are.

Lord, there are just so many things installed for the days ahead and i know it, for You are great. Thank You for quickening my spirit that even through the little faith that i have, You have shown me things that are to come, thing too great for comprehensions, too great!

I know Lord that without faith, it is impossible to please You.(a) Lord, i also know the very fact and truth that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.(b)

Just as the title says Lord, i believe; help me in my unbelief.(c)

Teach me, dear Jesus, that i will not grow weary in doing good.(d) That i will continually trust in You; Thank You Lord that You have shown us(our church) that this year will be a year of firm footing. Teach me O Lord, that i will learn from Abraham; that i will continue to trust in You through times of seemingly impossible situations, in times that the situation may say otherwise, Lord, i desire to place my trust in You completely, for i know that Your ways and thoughts are higher than mine.

Thank You Lord for the many returns You've promised that are coming my way. It's an excitement so great, that i would not want to miss.

Lead me, guide me, teach me.
I exist solely for You, for without You, i wouldn't be here.

All these Lord, i surrender into Your hands. For i know that it is not because of what I've done, nor what i can do; but because of Your grace so great. All my trust is in You.

Thank You Lord. Let these be so. Amen.

Love...what can be said about it?
Are we talking about boy-girl relationship love?
What exactly is love?
Can it be as simple as saying "I love you" to the ones we love?
Who are the ones we love?
Do we really mean it when we say it to our families, our friends, our spouse, and our community?

AGAPE, the word is of Greek which means platonic love for one another.

This year, the word AGAPE will be brought to life, by a number of dedicated people in the core team. There will be a fair for all to have fun, but at the same time, presenting dedications for the needy as there will be a donation box prepared and all proceeds will go to charitable bodies. At the same time, there will be a musical drama night where by audiences will watch a drama presentation just for them by talented people where by audiences will watch a drama presentation just for them by talented people to project, what AGAPE is really all about.

Don't miss this chance in participating this event where you can be a part of it, by helping the needy and having fun at the same time. Take this chance to discover what AGAPE is all about for you and for the people around you. Hope to see you there!

This event is proudly brought to you, by Multimedia University Christian Society!

The Voice

The voice that called the universe,
The voice that calms the sea,
The voice that brings me peace,
It’s calling out to me.

So open up your ears,
Let those whispers ring,
Take heed of how it beats,
It’s calling out to me.

I said: "Here I am Lord,
Come and speak to me.
My heart it yearns to hear,
Lord, take me to the deep.”

Life. It's been 21 years.

Life is fragile; as some may say.
Life is short; others might say.
I beg to differ.
Half truth ain't truth.

Life is more than what your eyes can see.
Life on earth may be short, but it ain't fragile.
Life doesn't end here.
Life is eternal.

It doesn't matter if you believe or not,
Life remains eternal.
The ONLY thing that matters to God's heart,
Is where you'd be when it all ends.

Choose you this day, where you'd wanna be?
Cuz it'll be for eternity.
I'm not scaring you.
I'm just sharing truths.

So what's fragile?
Your heart is.
It's thinner than paper,
Breaks easier than glass.

Yet, it can be firm as a mountain,
Holding on to what seems to be true;
That is, at least to you.
It's a part of you that makes you, you.

So be strong, and hold on to what is true
Circumstances may say otherwise,
But it doesn't even matter.
He's always there for you.

No matter what comes your way,
Know that He wants to be in all that you do.
He's crazy over you, He even died for you.
He came, to give you life, and life abundantly.

Ask! That's what you'd need to do.
He's waiting, waiting for you.
He's a gentleman, He doesn't budge in,
Unless you invite Him.

Lastly, remember, He loves you.
In fact, He is LOVE himself.
Life means so much more when He's here.
Life is worth living because He lives.
